Application Becoming a member of Chapter 175 is pretty easy. First you need to be a member of STAR. Please visit the STAR National website for more information on joining STAR. Once you are a member of STAR all you need to do is fill out our member application and present it to one of our officers. After you have attended three meetings and or rides you will be eligible to be voted in as a new member of Chapter 175. |
Ride Waiver All guest and members are required to sign the Chapter 175 ride waiver before riding and or participating in any chapter events for the current year. Ride waivers are good through December 31st of each year. |
Hand Signals Here are the standard hand signals that the members of Chapter 175 use. Good communication throughout the group during a ride heightens awareness. Knowledge of these hand signals may protect you and those behind you from road hazards, equipment failure and alert others to a medical emergency. |
Road Captain Handbook Members that are interested in becoming a "Road Captain" will need to read this handbook and keep a copy of it with them at all times. The purpose of this handbook is to help prospective and current Road Captains understand the responsibilities and expectations imposed upon them during group rides. |
Chapter Bylaws This is documentation explaining the rules and guidelines that Chapter 175 follows. The bylaws are attachments to the Charter that is renewed annually. The Charter is available to all members in good standing. |
Meeting Minutes This is a record of what the chapter has discussed at the previous meetings. This file will be updated monthly to keep you informed on what and or where this chapter is going. |
